Georgia will get their season underway in a month and a half. The Bulldogs will once again be ranked very high to start the season and are also the favorite to win the SEC this season.
That however doesn't guarantee any amount of success, but ESPN believes this team will be one for the record books. ESPN typically isn't a big believer in Georgia, but heading into this season their Football Power Index is predicting a perfect 12-0 regular season for the Bulldogs.

ESPN predicts a perfect 12-0 season for Georgia football
ESPN believes that Georgia will go 12-0 this season. That is a large difference from what Vegas thinks as they have the Bulldogs win total set at just 9.5 wins, but ESPN is a firm believer in this Georgia team.
Is a 12-0 record that likely though? Georgia had a perfect regular season three years in a row from 2021-23, but since then the Bulldogs have fallen short of a 12-0 record. This year could be the year, but it is very unlikely.
Sure ESPN believes Georgia will win every game this season, but just because they are favored to win every game doesn't mean it will actually happen. Georgia's schedule is just too difficult to expect a 12-0 record, and there are four games that they should be extra cautious about this season.
The 3 most likely losses for Georgia this season and one game that could shock everyone
There are three very obvious games that Georgia could lose this season. The most obvious is their road game at Alabama, but another road game at Ole Miss seems just as likely too.
Georgia has a 1-2 record against Alabama and Ole Miss over the last two years, so they are the only programs with any amount of success against Georgia during the last few years. So while Georgia would be favored to win both games right now, no one should be upset with splitting these two games.
There is one home game that Georgia should be really nervous about this season as well. The Oklahoma Sooners come to town during week four and they will bring one of the best defenses in the country this season. Quarterback John Mateer is finally healthy again too, and he will be ready to make a statement in Athens.
There are also a few spots where Georgia could get upset too. Florida and Auburn in rivalry matchups are always a possibility, but CBS Sports thinks that Georgia could get upset by South Carolina at the end of this season.
Only time will tell how this season goes, but for the first time in what feels like forever ESPN actually believes in Georgia. At the end of the day that doesn't mean anything, but it is still nice to get the respect that they deserve.
