The Georgia Bulldogs are, once again, about to have a laundry list of players drafted this weekend. Kirby Smart's ability to produce NFL talent has been unmatched in the past decade, and the program does not look to be slowing down in 2026.
With the draft ready to begin, here are the final predictions as to when and where six Bulldogs will be drafted.
Monroe Freeling: Detroit Lions (R1, Pick 17)
After a record-breaking combine, it's obvious that Monroe Freeling will go in the first round. The only question will be who do scouts value more: Freeling or Kayden Proctor? In this scenario, I have Freeling taken over Proctor at pick 17 and Proctor likely going to the Eagles at pick 23.
However, that can definitely be interchangeable. Both prospects are highly sought after with similar athleticism. Freeling's combine performance to me gives him the edge, and the Lions' top priority this draft should be protecting Jared Goff. They took Tate Rateledge last year early, don't be surprised if they take a chance at another Bulldog offensive lineman.
CJ Allen: Los Angeles Chargers (R1, Pick 22)
Some experts have CJ Allen slipping out of the first round and being taken in the second or third, but I disagree. Allen was a finalist for the Butkus Award this past season for a reason. Not to mention, as a true freshman he was put into a starting role and as the leader of Smart's defense.
That does not happen frequently at all in Georgia's system. In fact, only Nakobe Dean and Roquan Smith can say they have a comparable level of success at Georgia as an ILB. Allen is built extremely similar to both Dean and Smith and can come into any system and immediately make an impact.
Christen Miller: Arizona Cardinals (R2, Pick 34)
Although Christen Miller has had projections to go round one, I still think he will go early in the second round. Despite the level of athleticism, scouts might have a hard time taking him in the first round with his limited production in 2025.
Despite the lack of production, Miller should be high on every board looking for a defensive lineman. He is one of the quickest defensive tackles in the draft and can draw comparisons to guys like Jalen Carter. At pick 34, the Cardinals would be crazy not to take Miller. With their desperate need to revamp their defensive line, Miller would be the perfect take in the second round.
Zachariah Branch: Philadelphia Eagles (R3, Pick 68)
With the recent buzz circulating the NFL that AJ Brown will likely be traded to the New England Patriots this summer, the Eagles would be crazy not to take a wide receiver as insurance. Even though Zachariah Branch is not a comparable receiver to Brown, Nick Sirianni has been known to take talent over scheme or needs when he gets past the first few rounds.
Branch is arguably the quickest and most versatile player in the league. I would not put it past Sirianni to give Jalen Hurts yet another weapon on offense.
Daylen Everette: Green Bay Packers (R3, Pick 84)
After losing former Bulldog Eric Stokes, the Green Bay Packers are once again in need of a new corner. In the past, the Packers have liked to draft tall, physical corners who can help in run support and create turnovers. In my opinion, Daylen Everette is the best corner in the draft to provide that. For some reason, Everette is expected to slip to the third or fourth round. At pick 84, Everette would be a luxury for the Packers organization.
Oscar Delp: Carolina Panthers (R4, Pick 119)
Bryce Young's NFL career has been a roller coaster, to say the least. In a likely make-or-break year, the Panthers should do everything in their power to give Young as many weapons as possible. With that being said, Brock Bowers has quickly become one of, if not the, best tight end in the league. Why not draft his prodige while in Athens in the fourth round?
Oscar Delp's draft stock was hurt by having to share the load with the best tight end group in college football last season. If he was the focal point of that offense, we could have seen yet another Bulldog tight end go in the first round. As it is, Delp is an extremely versatile tight end who can both run block and pass catch. Given the situation in Carolina, this could be exactly what they are looking for.
Georgia will have more than these six players selected in the draft this year, but these six represent the top players Georgia will have taken this year.
The NFL Draft is set to begin Thursday April 23 with the first round following by rounds two and three on Friday and the final rounds n Saturday.
