The NFL Draft is set to begin on April 23. Georgia once again expects to be one of the schools with the most draft picks, and that includes having multiple players taken in the first round on Thursday.
Monroe Freeling and CJ Allen at this point feel like locks to be taken in the first round. Two first round picks would be a phenomenal performance for Georgia any year, but what if they had three players taken in the first round?
Three first round picks is a lot more difficult to accomplish, but a new mock draft suggests that Christen Miller could be surprised third Bulldog taken in the first round on Thursday.

Christen Miller is Georgia’s latest 1st round NFL Draft projection
Miller was a relatively unknown player on NFL mock drafts heading into last season. After a quick start to the year though that changed in a hurry.
He only finished the season with 23 total tackles and 1.5 sacks, but that was good enough for him to leave a year early and head to the draft.
Fast forward to today and he is now being mocked to be taken in the first round. That wasn’t always the case this offseason, but he tested very well ahead of the NFL Draft and scouts are beginning to take notice.
Also included in this mock draft from Georgia is offensive lineman Monroe Freeling who is projected to be the third overall pick. Linebacker CJ Allen is also in the top half of the first round at No. 12 as well after a meteoric rise over the last few weeks.
But Miller is the most shocking inclusion by far. Who knows if he’ll actually be taken this high, but whoever does take a chance on him will not end up regretting it.
