Georgia saw starting running back Nate Frazier go down with an injury against Arkansas this past weekend. He did not return to the game which created a lot of concern about his status going forward, but on Monday Kirby Smart shared that he expects Frazier to be available to play against Oklahoma this weekend.

“Nate I think is going to be fine. Gonna be day-to-day. I expect him to be available to play.”
Nate Frazier can help Georgia's offense while they iron out their passing attack
Frazier is one of the players that Georgia just can't afford to lose this season. They have a lot of depth behind him, but he is explosive and potentially one of the best running backs in the SEC. That is extremely difficult for any team to replace even with all the depth Georgia has in their running back room.
Georgia also hasn't found their true identity in the pass game yet this season. That makes Frazier remaining healthy even more critical because they need to rely on him while things get ironed out in the passing game.
Thankfully Frazier avoided disaster and only suffered a minor injury. Smart also said after the Arkansas game that he could've returned to action if they needed him, but since the game was already out of reach they kept him out just to be safe. So Frazier should be good to go by Saturday when Georgia faces Oklahoma in the biggest game of their season so far.
3 more thrilling Georgia football injury updates ahead of Oklahoma game
There are three other Bulldogs worth mentioning that just got an injury update courtesy of Kirby Smart. Linebacker Chase Linton is yet to play this season, defensive back Tyriq Green missed Saturday's game against Arkansas and wide receiver Isiah Canion was hurt early in the game against the Razorbacks, but according to Smart they all should be back soon.
Kirby asked for an update on Tyriq Green, Chase Linton and Isiah Canion… “Yup, they’ll all be back soon.”

It isn't clear if they will be back in time to play Oklahoma this weekend, but the fact that they are all close to returning is great for Georgia.
Linton was expected to be one of Georgia's top defenders this season. They've been able to survive without him quite easily so far this season because of the lack of competition they've played, but they could really use him now that their schedule difficulty is ramping up.
Canion is a top option for Georgia's passing attack. They haven't had a player fully break through yet this year, but he is someone who could become one of Gunner Stockton's top options out wide this season if he remains healthy.
Then there is Green who missed the Arkansas game after scoring two touchdowns against Western Kentucky. It's unlikely that he'll play too much in Georgia's secondary this season as a true freshman, but he is a depth piece who could see some time here and there.
Georgia has been able to avoid a catastrophic injury so far this season. Combining that with the fact that all three of these players plus Frazier are progressing well has Georgia set up to enter the main portion of SEC play healthier than they've been the past few years.
