Georgia football has positioned themselves very well with the No. 1 running back in the country. That recruit is five-star Savion Hiter, who is the No. 17 overall player in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Georgia hosted Hiter on his official visit this past weekend, and a key report came out stating that Georgia was officially a contender for Hiter after this visit.

This was a massive report for UGA to see because up until this point it didn't seem like Georgia had much of a chance in this recruitment. Sure they technically were still in the running, but all signs were pointing towards Georgia falling behind. That however no longer appeared to be the case.

Fast forward a couple days now and On3 released yet another report that changes everything in Hiter's recruitment.

5-star RB's NIL requirements are leaked

According to On3, Hiter is expected to sign an NIL deal that will pay him between $600k and $800k during his freshman season alone. This may seem like quite a large deal for a true freshman, but it is actually pretty reasonable considering all the other massive deals that other top recruits have signed this year alone.

The good news for Georgia is that this is an amount they can afford. Who knows how much money Kirby Smart and Georgia have actually offered Hiter, but the Bulldogs are more than capable of offering him a deal within this range.

The bad news for Goeorgia however is that Hiter's three other finalists can also afford to pay this much. Ohio State, Tennessee and Michigan are known to have some of the top NIL programs in the country as well, so this is a price range that they can all offer Hiter as well.

Hiter will take his final official visit this weekend to Tennessee, and after that a commitment could be on the horizon. Georgia unfortunately appears to still be trailing Michigan for Hiter, but there is still time for the Bulldogs to end up on top.
