Georgia football is in the midst of their second bye week of the season after beating No. 5 Ole Miss 43-35 this past weekend. This week off not only gives Georgia some time to reflect on the first seven games of their season they already played, but they also can look ahead at what’s to come the rest of the season.
Georgia has an important five game stretch coming up that will define their season. They have everything to play for still, but they are going to have to go out and earn everything because no one will hand them anything.
So knowing how crucial these next five games are, here is a final score prediction for every game remaining on Georgia’s schedule.
1. Florida Gators (Jacksonville)
Up next for Georgia is their annual rivalry matchup with Florida, but this year's game is different. Typically this is a game between two very strong teams, but that is not the case this year.
Georgia has held up their end of the bargain as they are 6-1 and the No. 5 team in the country, but Florida is a miserable 3-4 and just fired head coach Billy Napier.
Georgia will be a massive favorite and rightfully so, but will they actually win by a large margin? Weird things can sometimes happen immediately after a head coach is fired, and that most certainly could be the case in two weeks. But Georgia will still win this game, but it might be a smaller margin than people expect.
Prediction: Georgia wins 27-17
Updated Record: 7-1 (5-1)
