Five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola was once committed to Georgia. Then at the last second he flipped his commitment to Nebraska which was a big blow to UGA at the time.
However, it appears that Georgia may have dodged a bullet as Raiola never panned out into the player anyone expected during his two years at Nebraska. Fast forward to the end of this season and Raiola has announced that he plans to leave Nebraska and enter the Transfer Portal.

Raiola has been known to move around to many different schools throughout his football career, and it's that fact that has caused him to be on the receiving end of countless jokes since this news dropped.
Former Georgia commit Dylan Raoila is being trolled endlessly since announcing his intentions to transfer
Raiola will be heading to the second school of his college career this offseason. That is not strange by any means, but everthing up to this point has been very abnormal. He was obviously committed to Georgia at one point because he flipped from UGA to Nebraska at the end of the 2024 recruiting cycle, but he was also committed to Ohio State at one point.
On top of being committed to three different schools throughout his recruitment, Raiola played at four different schools throughout his high school football career as well. All of this movement has led fans from across the country to troll him for not being able to stay loyal to Nebraska in college like he intended.
Another thing fans have pointed out is how similar Raiola is to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He may not be the player Mahomes is, but he wears the same number, played for a school with the same colors as the Chiefs and has even made himself look like Mahomes. He has also copied a lot of Mahomes' celebrations to the point where it had to be rehearsed.
Mahomes played college football at Texas Tech, so On3 made a joke in the above post by saying the Red Raiders are not expected to be in the mix.
While these jokes are all pretty humoruos, it has to be a little frustrating for Nebraska to see how this is unfolding. So while Georgia was wrapped up in this drama a few years ago, it is nice that he is no longer impacting their program and UGA fans can watch all of this unfold as regular bystanders.
