Jordan Davis is one of those names that Georgia football fans will remember forever. He came to Athens as a lowly three-star recruit, but he quickly blossomed into one of the best players on their team. His success is arguably one of the biggest reasons why Georgia won their first National Championship under Kirby Smart.

Fast forward a few years and Davis has shined so far in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles. In fact, he has done so well that the Eagles just signed him to a three year extension worth $78 million.

Davis just held his first press conferences since signing this extension, and he couldn't help but let all the emotions out as he realized he finally accomplished his lifelong dream.

Davis began his press conference by talking about his love for the city of Philadelphia. He spoke about how much he adores the fans and how he tries to learn from their work ethic to apply it to his career playing football as he tries to keep getting better.

Davis also spoke about fellow Bulldog Jalen Carter and how much it means to have him alongside him in Philly. Carter was even at his press conference which shows just how special of a bond they have going all the way back to their time at Georgia.

Davis finally spoke about what it means to be a leader for Philadelphia. He shared how seriously he takes his job not just on the field each week but as a leader in the locker room. That is something that Georgia got to witness first hand when he was still in college, and it's amazing to see that continue in the NFL.

Davis is coming off a season where he shattered his career high in tackles with 72 along with 4.5 sacks. He may have had a slower start to his career a few years ago, but now that he is staying healthy he is proving how much he can dominate each and every game.

His future in the NFL is extremely bright, and Georgia fans are lucky they get to cheer him on every step of the way.
