Sometimes big Jordan Davis can get overlooked playing next to his former Georgia defensive lineman and now star for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jalen Carter. But that will change after Sunday.
Davis is the quintessential run-stuffing interior tackle who loves to do all the dirty work for the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Just like at UGA, Davis doesn't call attention to himself unless he is making a big, disruptive play, and that’s exactly what he did on Sunday when he capped a big comeback win for the Eagles as they scored 26 unanswered points against the Los Angeles Rams.
Jordan Davis made the game winning play against the L.A. Rams
Georgia fans love to see the affable behemoth do well on Sundays. Against another former Bulldog in Matthew Stafford and the L.A. Rams, the 6'6" 335-pound mauler made the game-saving play by blocking a 44-yard field goal attempt that would have won the Rams the game.
Not only did he get his big paw on the ball, he proceeded to scoop up the loose ball and scamper 61 yards for a touchdown ensuring the Eagles' 33-26 victory as time expired.

It was a sight to behold as the enormous lineman showed the elite combination of size and speed running away from the pack as the heaviest player on the field.
Davis blocked some big kicks for the back-to-back National Championship teams
Davis and Carter have been bull-rushing special teams interior lines together since they were wreaking havoc together in Athens five years ago.
Using his overwhelming size, wingspan, and strength, Davis collected three blocked kicks for the Bulldogs during his Georgia career. Still, what he was able to pull off with the block, scoop, and score was possibly the most highlight-worthy play he has made at the NFL level.
There were an unbelievable seven blocked kicks around the NFL on Sunday, but the former Bulldogs’ block and "big-man TD" was the most memorable as Davis continues to make UGA fans proud.
