Georgia's spring season began this week which means fans get to take in next year's football team for the next month. This is always an extremely exciting time as fans get their first glimpse of the incoming freshmen, transfers and returners who project to play a lot more than they last year.

Former five-star tight end Elyiss Williams is one of those players who is back for another season who expects to get a lot more playing time this year. And upon his arrival to Georgia's first week of practice it was clear that he will a major factor and someone who will be impossible for opposing defenses to cover.

Williams' size is hard to deny. He already stood out when he was a freshman last year, but he somehow took that to another level since the end of last season.

Williams had a quiet year last season where he only recorded seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown. He did however make a few huge plays that showed just how great of a pass catcher he can be, and that is something that Georgia desperately needs next season.

Already this spring Kirby Smart has emphasized how important the development of their wide receiver room is. He knows how young and inexperienced they are, and that is a huge concern for him.

Williams is someone who can help with that. Sure he is just as young and inexperienced as the wide receivers, but his size is something that no defense will be able to defend. So if Mike Bobo calls the right plays and Gunner Stockton executes at a high level, Williams could have a breakout year this season.

This offseason is critical for Williams. He already has the look of an elite tight end, now he just has to put it all together before the season begins this fall.
