A few days ago Georgia lost their commitment from four-star corner Jerry Outhouse. This was a big loss for Kirby Smart because Outhouse is a top 100 player in the country, but it was the fact that he decommitted less than two months after committing to Georgia that left fans scratching their heads.

But Outhouse announced on Friday that he was flipping his commitment to UCLA, and that surely will leave Smart, and ever Georgia football fan, speechless.

Georgia will lose a few of their commits every recruiting cycle. That is just how recruiting works nowadays for every school, so any one loss really isn't that big of a deal.

That is especially the case at Georgia who is usually able to find a new player to replace them with that is equally as talented if not better. But Outhouse's decision to flip to UCLA is extremely shocking.

For someone as talented as Outhouse it is weird that he chose to go to a program of their caliber. No offense to UCLA, but they are nowhere near the level that Georgia is on. In fact, they aren't anywhere close to even being an average program in their best years. So to jump ship and head to a program like that is very strange to say the least.

And it's not like he's doing that to stay close to home either because he is from the state of Texas.

Georgia will be just fine without Outhouse. They will certainly be able to find a few recruits who they think are equally as good if not better, so no one should be too worried about this development. But that doesn't mean this decision isn't very surprising that will make everyone wonder how it ever happened.
