Four-star wide receiver Brady Marchese was one of the few commits Georgia lost throughout the 2026 recruiting cycle. His decommitment however was one of the most surprising because he had been committed to Georgia for so long and flipped to Michigan on Early Signing Day.
Marchese however changed his mind earlier this week and backed of his commitment to Michigan after they fired head coach Sherrone Moore. This left Kirby Smart and Georgia in an interesting position because they could circle back with him if they'd like. Marchese however did turn his back on Georgia already though, so it may not be wise to give him a second chance.
It's unclear at this point if Georgia has given him a second chance or not, but a new prediction has been logged for Marchese to commit to Auburn.

4-star Brady Marchese may go from Georgia commit to UGA rival
There likely aren't too many Georgia fans that will be upset to see Marchese not come back to Georgia. If he already proved he isn't loyal to Georgia then why should UGA give him another chance?
His potential decision to flip to Auburn though may just be the best case scenario for Georgia. This means they will get to play him every season in the SEC, so they will have an opportunity to show him how big of a mistake he made by decommitting from Georgia in the first place.
Recent history shows that Georgia will get their revenge against Marchese if he commits to Auburn. In fact, he may never beat Georgia during his time with the Tigers. But he made a business decision to leave Georgia and sometimes those decisions have consequences, and in this case it will be losing to his former school for as many years as he stays at Auburn.
