If you are a fan of the NFL or just enjoy watching good football, then you may have found yourself in your happy place on Sunday. But if you are a proud follower of Georgia football, then you were treated to something even better. Representation.

For Georgia fans, that representation is always a prideful sight to see when players from your favorite team go on to do great things at the next level. For Kirby Smart, he too feels that pride, but there is also a secondary angle that benefits his Georgia football program.

For Smart, he is often quoted as saying, “recruiting will always beat out coaching.” And for his Georgia program, seeing former Bulldogs making plays on football’s biggest stage is without a doubt Smart's greatest recruiting pitch. And make no doubt about it, these playoff Bulldogs put on a show on Conference Championship Sunday in the NFL Playoffs.

James Cook - Buffalo Bills

James Cook had a very impressive day in the AFC Conference Championship game. Although the Buffalo Bills came up short 32-29 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Cook did all that he could to give his team a chance to win. On a crucial 4th and goal, you will not find a grittier and more determined run than Cook's. Cook was able to fight through defenders to stretch out for a miraculous TD that had given Buffalo back the lead late in the third quarter.

Cook finished the night with 134 total yards from scrimmage (85 yards rushing, 49 yards receiving) and two touchdowns.

Nolan Smith Jr., Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter - Philadelphia Eagles

In Sunday's NFC Conference Championship game, Nolan Smith Jr. and Jordan Davis each recorded a sack in Philadelphia’s 55-23 route of the Washington Commanders. And while Jalen Carter did not record a sack of his own, he was perhaps the most menacing player on the field for both teams.

The tradition of winning will continue for these 3 former Bulldogs as they are now on their way to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans for a February 9th matchup against the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs beat the Eagles two years ago 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII, so this will be a very exciting game to watch in two weeks.
