Four teams that could prevent Georgia from winning a National Championship

Georgia football is looking like a true national championship contender once again, but there are a few teams that they need to be mindful of that could keep them from winning it all.

Miami (FL) Hurricanes

Miami is a very hard team to get a good read on. They are 8-0 and No. 5 in the latest AP Poll, but a lot of that is due to the schedule they have played so far. There is not one team that Miami has beaten this year that is currently ranked in the AP Poll. Looking ahead, they also don't have a ranked opponent left on their schedule either.

Miami also has a lot of questionable wins this season as well. The Hurricanes barely survived three games in a row against Virginia Tech, Cal and Louisville. Barely getting by those teams does not instill a lot of confidence.

It's looking like Miami and Clemson will play each other in the ACC Championship game later this season, so that is when we will finally learn how good this Miami team is. But if Miami is 12-0 entering that game, they will make the CFP win or loss.

But the fact that we really don't know how good Miami will be against elite competition is why they are a team that could prevent Georgia from winning a national championship. Miami has proven that they can score a lot of points, so when you have a wild card team with an expolosive offense there is always a chance they can beat any team put in front of them.
