Georgia football already has their quarterback of the future in Jared Curtis, but Curtis will only be in Athens for so long. That means Kirby Smart and his staff must continue to recruit the position so the QB room is still healthy when Curtis's time at Georgia is all said and done.
Georgia has handed out a few recent offers to quarterbacks in the 2027 class, but there is an elite quarterback in the 2028 recruiting class that the Bulldogs are already prioritizing. That recruit is QB Jayden Wade from Bradenton, FL who is playing his high school football at IMG Academy.
Wade took a recent visit to Georgia and has since picked up a scholarship offer from the Bulldogs. And apparently this visit and offer from UGA meant so much to him that he continues to give Georgia a lot of love at the ongoing Rivals camp in Indianapolis.
Future 5-star QB shows off latest Georgia gear
The Rivals Five-Star Challenge is currently taking place in Indianapolis, IN, and this event gives the best players in the country a chance to compete and show scouts how they stack up with other recruits from across the country. This showcase is an invite only event, so any player participating is one of the top recruits in the country.
Wade is one of the few players from the 2028 class that was invited to this event, and when he arrived on Monday he was pictured wearing a Georgia shirt.

Fast forward to Tuesday and Wade once again is showing off his Georgia gear as he was seen with a UGA towel during throwing drills.

Recruiting rankings have not been released for the 2028 class yet, but the fact that he was invited to this event shows that he will be one of the top quarterbacks in his class. To further that point, Wade already has 27 offers from programs like Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M. So it's clear that many other programs agree that he is a special talent.
Wade has nearly three years left in his recruitment, so this is not a player anyone expects to commit anytime soon. But it appears Georgia is in a good place with him right now, which is all anyone can ask for with a player who is entering their sophomore year of high school.
