There is nothing better than a good rivalry game, and while fans still have to wait a couple of weeks until Good Ole' Fashioned Hate is seen on the football field, they were able to get their fill on the basketball court. The Georgia Bulldogs took down the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at home 92-87 on Friday night in a game that said a lot about this Bulldog team.

After an embarrassing exit last season in the NCAA Tournament, Georgia fans wanted to see that the Bulldogs could improve this season and be able to make it back to March Madness and this time go further than the first round.

Against Georgia Tech, however, the Bulldogs showed that their 4-0 start is no fluke, and teams better be ready to take on a Georgia team that is ready to score as much as it needs to in order to get the win.

Georgia shows its offense is something to fear on the basketball court

It is almost ironic that the Georgia offense is the highlight of the basketball court, as the Bulldogs have always been known for their shutdown defense on the football field. However, things are changing in Athens.

Against the Yellow Jackets, the Bulldogs have three players in double digits, with Blue Cain leading the way with 18 points and Jeremiah Wilkinson adding 18 off the bench. Jordan Ross was the third Bulldog in double digits as Georgia showed they have an offense that can keep up with anyone.

Georgia out-rebounded Georgia Tech 49 to 43, giving the Bulldogs extra possessions and keeping the ball away from the Yellow Jackets. Georgia also won the turnover battle 18-14, making sure that they took care of the basketball.

The Bulldogs are 4-0 to start the season, and there is hope that Mike White and his squad can show they belong again in a SEC that is going to be very competitive yet again.
