Georgia will take on the Yellow Jackets at Georgia Tech's home arena, the McCamish Pavilion, in Atlanta, GA. This is Georgia's first road game of the season, so they will look to get off to a perfect 1-0 start on the road. Georgia Tech on the other hand have not left Atlanta yet this season, and they carry a 2-1 record at home and overall so far this season.

Georgia trails Georgia Tech in the all time series history 92-107. The Bulldogs however did win their annual matchup with the Yellow Jackets last season 76-62 and have also won six of the last eight meetings against Georgia Tech. This includes a 1-1 record during Mike White's tenure at Georgia.
