Georgia basketball is back in action after a remarkable week last week. The Bulldogs defeated No. 6 Kentucky during the week before knocking off their second straight ranked opponent in No. 17 Oklahoma. The road for Georgia unfortunately does not get any easier as they now have the pleasure of facing the new No. 6 team in the country in Tennessee.

When?

Georgia and Tennessee are set to do battle on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 8:00 pm EST.

Where?

After two home games last week for the Bulldogs, Georgia hits the road and travels to Knoxville, TN to face the Vols at the Food City Center.

Mike White’s Bulldogs will take on Tennessee on the SEC Network. Brian Custer and Richard Hendrix will be on the call for this game.

Tennessee is looking for win number 100 in this series as the Vols hold a 99-61 edge in the all time series.

The last time Georgia played at Tennessee was not kind to the Bulldogs. Tennessee took down UGA 70-41 in a game that was never close. However, last season in Athens when these teams played last, Georgia played very well and even held an 11-point lead with about seven minutes remaining in the game. That lead however vanished quickly as the Vols finished the game on a 21-4 run to win 85-79.
