One of Georgia football's remaining targets in the 2026 recruiting class is offensive lineman Breck Kolojay. The four-star offensive lineman has kept his recruitment close to his chest, but he shared on Monday that he will announce his commitment on Aug. 1.

Georgia battling familiar foe in Breck Kolojay's recruitment
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Kolojay is the No. 286 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 20 offensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 40 overall player from his home state of Florida.
Kolojay also shared on Monday that Georgia, Colorado, Miami (FL), Oklahoma and USC are the five finalists in his recruitment. However, there are two teams who appear to be leading the pack, and that is Georgia and their biggest recruiting rival.
On3 currently has Miami as the team leading in Kolojay's recruitment. There are reasons for Georgia to be hopeful though, especially after his last visit to Athens. Kolojay orginally planned on taking his recruitment into the fall during the season, but he announced after his last trip to Georgia that he would be committing much sooner than he originally thought.
This doesn't guarantee that Georgia is the leader, but this seems like something a recruit would say if they are high on Georgia.
Georgia and Miami were recently named the biggest recruiting rivalry in all of college football between teams from different conferences. So it really shouldn't be that surprising that they appear to be the top two programs for one of the top offensive lineman from the state of Florida.
Georgia has four offensive linemen committed to their 2026 class, but only one of them is a four-star recruit. This makes winning this recruitment extremely important for the future of UGA's offensive line, so hopefully Kirby Smart and his staff are able to come out on top on Aug. 1.
