Every Georgia football fan by now knows that former UGA quarterback Carson Beck decided to transfer to Miami (FL) for one final season of college football. This news was obviously very shocking at first, but now that it’s been a month most Georgia fans have moved on.
However, not every Georgia fan has moved on, and that includes the student bookstore that recently made headlines for what they decided to do with their Beck merchandise they still had in their inventory now that he’s moved on to Miami.

Carson Beck gear being sold at a discount
According to On3, the Georgia student bookstore has put all of their remaining Beck merchandise on the clearance rack and are selling it for 25 percent of what it was originally sold for.
Now this may not be much of a shot at Beck because what Georgia fan would want to buy something with Beck’s name on it at full price? It is however strange for them to put these items on the racks in general because most UGA fans will have no interest in buying these items even if it is very cheap.
To be fair to the bookstore, it does make a little sense to put these items out because they already invested money in them in the first place, so they have every right to try and make as much money back as they can. But still, this choice is still a little shocking because of the betrayal some Georgia fans feel from Beck.
So if you are in need of a new workout or outdoor chores shirt, this could be a really good option for you. So be sure to head to the bookstore as soon as possible as these items are going to be flying off the racks.
