Georgia football had another big day at the NFL Draft on Friday, but that didn't stop the program from having some major news in the transfer portal as well. On top of that, a new stat has surfaced surrounding Kirby Smart's tenure that is almost impossible to believe.
But let's begin with the thing everyone cares about the most this time of the year, the NFL Draft.
Georgia has three offensive lineman drafted during day two of NFL Draft
Day two of the NFL Draft has come and gone, and Georgia once again ended the night with three picks. All three picks surprisingly were from UGA's offensive line, including Tate Ratledge to Detroit, Dylan Fairchild to Cincinnati and Jared Wilson to New England.
The third and final day of the draft is Saturday as the NFL will go through rounds four through seven of the draft. And with 11 draft eligible Bulldogs still available, there is plenty of time for more fireworks in Green Bay for Georgia.
Insane Kirby Smart stat
Going back a few days to Thursday night, Georgia had three players drafted in the first round of this year's NFL Draft. This is a very impressive number that is tied for the second most first round picks this year, only trailing Ohio State who had four.
While three first round picks in one draft is a huge accomplishment, this has become the norm for UGA during Smart's tenure. However, what Smart has done during his time at Georgia is the furthest thing from normal.
Georgia's three first round picks on Thursday gave Smart 20 total first round picks during his tenure. To put that number into perspective, the Bulldogs have only had 19 losses during Smart's tenure as well. So Smart has coached more first round picks than he has losses on the field. There really is no greater stat than that.
Former Georgia QB finds a new home
The biggest quarterback transfer of the offseason for Georgia was when Carson Beck transfered to Miami (FL). But he wasn't the only QB to leave Athens as Jaden Rashada chose to do so as well.
Rashada entered the portal back in January while making the decision to wait until spring to see his options out. The time however has come for him to make his final decision, and he will reportedly be heading to Sacramento State next season.

It's unlikely Rashada will stay at Sacramento State for long based on his long history of committing, decommitting and transferring throughout his college career, but this is a spot where he will finally become QB1. So hopefully it works out for him so transferring back to a power four program will be on the table once again.
