Georgia commit schedules visit to Alabama

Three-star defensive lineman Corey Howard is one of the more underrated commits in Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class. Georgia fans usually don’t get too excited over three-star recruits, but the Bulldogs have produced their fair share of elite players who weren’t ranked too high out of school.

There is a chance Howard could be that next player, but only time will tell. But in order for Howard to have a chance at accomplishing that at Georgia, he has to stay true to his commitment and not flip elsewhere. Unfortunately Howard has scheduled a future visit to Alabama that will take place later this season.

It’s a shame this visit is happening because the last thing any Georgia fan wants is to lose a recruit to Alabama of all schools. But this development does show that Howard likely is better than the recruiting services give him credit for, so that is a big sign for UGA if he does stick in Georgia’s recruiting class.
