One of the most exciting offseason events took place on Saturday as the annual Senior Bowl All Star game took place. This event brings all of the top college football players from around the country heading to the NFL Draft together to complete with each other one last time.

The competition is fierce throughout practice all week, and two Georgia football stars stood above the rest during those practices. But Saturday it was time to put the pads on for one final game wearing their Georgia helmets.

Five Georgia football stars participated in this game and they all recorded a few stats during the game. Unfortunately no one from Georgia had an outstanding game, but that is expected during the Senior Bowl when every player receives equal playing time.

So let's see how each Bulldog performed at the Senior Bowl on Saturday.

Stats at the Senior Bowl

WR Arian Smith - Two catches for 37 yards.

Safety Dan Jackson - Three tackles and one pass break-up.

LB Smael Mondon - Two tackles and one pass break-up.

DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins - Two tackles.

RB Trevor Etienne - Five carries for 12 yards.

Georgia Play of the Day

While all five Bulldogs played very well in their limited time on the field, the play of the day from a Georgia player was easily from wide receiver Arian Smith. As mentioned above, Smith had just two catches for 37 yards, but one of his catches went for 32 yards.

And this wasn't your average catch, it was a stunning grab with a defender draped all over him.

Smith is one player who has a lot to prove throughout the NFL Draft process as he struggled at times this past season. But if he continues making plays like this, then he undoubtedly will be drafted pretty high later this summer.

Georgia's players heading to the NFL have multiple opportunities still in front of them to impress NFL scouts. This includes an upcoming Pro Day in Athens along with the NFL Draft Combine from Feb. 27 through March 2 with the NFL Draft taking place in late April.

So stay tuned as these five Bulldogs along with many others chase their dreams of hearing their name called on NFL Draft night.
