Georgia's starting center Drew Bobo has solidified himself as one of the key leaders on the Bulldogs football team. Since the start of the season Bobo has been dealing with a lingering finger injury on his left hand and has had to wear a club during games. However, Kirby Smart shared on Monday that he will finally be without the club this week when playing the Oklahoma Sooners.

Drew Bobo to play without club against Oklahoma
Georgia's game against Oklahoma will be the first one this season that Bobo does not wear a club, barring any unforeseen setbacks. This has to be a huge relief to the starting center considering the injury occurred during fall camp. Now the team captain should be able to play freely again with his left hand.
Bobo has still played in all three games so far this season. That means his conditioning should not be a problem against Oklahoma and he should improve from how he's played so far this season now that his hand is free.
Impact of Drew Bobo's full recovery from hand injury
Now that Georgia will be playing tougher competition in the coming weeks it is obviously a major advantage to have Bobo at full strength. Having full use of the left hand will make life easier once Gunner Stockton drops back and Bobo will be forced to hold off defensive lineman much more talented than what he has had to face so far.
However, the hand injury has not impacted Georgia's offensive line like many would expect an injury like that would. Bobo is still yet to allow a sack or a QB pressure this season. Although the center position is one that generally does not give up many sacks or pressures, it is a very impressive stat given the circumstances. Bobo has also made a great impact on run blocking while showing high effort and intensity.
Bobo's recovery could not have come at a better time. Oklahoma has one of the most physical defensive lines in the country and Georgia will need to be at their best on the offensive line. If Bobo was still in his club during this game it could have become a disadvantage when trying to enforce the run game.
As of now Georgia's offensive line is fully healthy and Nate Frazier is reportedly healthy again after exiting the game early against Arkansas. While it is only Monday, this is great news for Kirby Smart and Georgia's offense as their schedule is about to get a lot more difficult.
