It never feels good to lose a playoff game, especially not in the way the Georgia Bulldogs did against Ole Miss. Fans will be sick for the next several days going over the "what-ifs" in a narrow loss. However, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel as long as Kirby Smart is at the helm in Athens.

One of the best recruiters in the country, Smart can now focus on making this team even stronger going into next year, and what better way to do that than to go after the best player in the portal in Auburn wide receiver Cam Coleman.

CFP Exit could provide Georgia an opportunity to land Cam Coleman

Coleman announced less than a week ago that her intended to enter the Transfer Portal. Immediately after entering his name in the portal Coleman became the most sought after prospect in college football. The sophomore receiver reeled in over 700 yards in an Auburn offense that was dormant most of the season. His 6'3" frame paired with explosiveness and incredible jump ball skills makes him a No. 1 target for any team. However, Coleman to Georgia just makes sense.

Coleman is without question the best replacement for Colbie Young that Smart will be able to find. The two play extremely similar, with Coleman having even more explosiveness than Young. Coleman's quickness could have him fill in perfectly for not only Young, but Zachariah Branch too.

Georgia is already about to lose senior Young, but if Branch decides to enter the NFL Draft the Bulldogs would have to look for replacements in the portal. Coleman would be the perfect fit in this offense, and without question the new No. 1 target for Gunner Stockton.

Georgia's exit from the playoff is obviously a tough pill to swallow, but now Smart and his staff can really focus in on Coleman. With the loss coming less than a week after Coleman officially announced his intentions to enter the portal, the Bulldogs can jump on recruiting him almost immediately. Georgia is already a contender and back-to-back SEC champions, and if Smart can convince Coleman to dawn the red and black they would likely be favorites in the SEC heading into next season.
