Recruits love to play with other elite recruits in college. That is why Georgia has always been able to sign elite recruiting classes every year. Not only do they win on the field every season, but they always have elite players wanting to play at Georgia which continues to attract even more good players.

Georgia is benefitting from this thanks to the commitment from five-star running back Kemon Spell. He has made it clear that he intends to help Georgia recruit as much as possible since committing to UGA, and he has kept that promise.

And it's those efforts that have led the Bulldogs to earn a visit from four-star safety Gabe Jenkins.

Gabe Jenkins visits Georgia at the perfect time

Jenkins is a four-star safety from Pennsylvania. According to 247Sports he is the No. 130 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 22 safety in the 2027 recruiting class and the No. 5 player from his home state of Pennsylvania.

Jenkins will reportedly be visiting Georgia at the start of this week which is extremely significant. This is the first day that recruits can visit schools coming off the recruiting dead period in February. On top of that, Athens is a long ways away from Pennsylvania, so this is not an easy trip to make. Jenkins felt it was worth it though which shows how good of a spot Georgia is in right now.

These visits are all a part of Spell's plans. He made it clear that he wants mutliple elite recruits from Pennsylvania to join him at Georgia, and Jenkins is one of the players he has been in touch with. It remains to be seen if he actually commits to Georgia or not, but the fact that he is in Athens is a really big deal.
