NFL training camps are underway with the 2025 season quickly approaching. There are countless former Georgia football stars across the league who are getting ready for their next season in the league, and many of them have already shown a lot of improvement since last season.
One of those Bulldogs who has seen the biggest improvement when it comes to transforming his body is Jordan Davis with the Philadelphia Eagles.
"Just putting in the work, putting in the work and being consistent," Davis shared via ugawire.usatoday.com. "I'll say living better, more energy, greater focus, conditioning wise on the field. I feel like, you know, it takes me longer to really get tired."
Jordan Davis’s new body will take him to the next level
Davis detailed how he’s lost a whopping 26 pounds so far this offseason. His main goal in doing this was to be better conditioned which will allow him to stay on the field more.
This is something the Eagles need from Davis, because when he is on the field he is a force that offenses struggle to slow down. So far in Davis’s three year NFL career, he has racked up 90 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Davis’s potential however is much higher than this, he just needs to be able to play more and his career will take off even more.
Davis is coming off the 2024 season where he helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl. The expectations for Philadelphia this season now are to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. Their roster is definitely talented enough, but they will need some of their veteran players to step up to help them accomplish that.
And Carter likely will be one of those players after the way he’s transformed his body this offseason.
