Georgia is through the first three games of their season after dismantling Arkansas on the road on Saturday. Up next is a big time matchup at home against Oklahoma.
The Bulldogs looked strong in their first three games of the season, but their three opponents may end up being the three worst teams on their schedule this season. Georgia doesn't have an easy opponent next week though as the Oklahoma Sooners are coming to Athens which marks the first big game of Georgia's season. The SEC may have made this game a little less exciting though by failing to give this matchup the game time it deserves.
When do Georgia and Oklahoma play?
Georgia and Oklahoma are scheduled to play at 3:30 pm EST on Saturday, Sept. 26 in Athens. This will be Georgia's third home game of the season and their first SEC matchup at home this year.
3:30 is a decent game time, but it could've been much better. Oklahoma may end up being the biggest home game of the season for Georgia, so fans may have preferred a night game rather than a late afternoon game time. A noon kick time would've been a disaster so it's nice that Georgia avoided that, but this feels like a missed opportunity to have Georgia's first and maybe only night game of the season.
The SEC also chose to put South Carolina at Alabama in one of the two night slots ahead of Georgia and Oklahoma which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Alabama should have no issues winning that game, so it may have been wiser to put a top 25 matchup at night instead of a game where the winner already seems obvious.
How to watch Georgia football play Oklahoma
The Georgia and Oklahoma game will air on ESPN. Georgia's first two games of the season weren't on national TV, but week three against Arkansas they finally got on the big screen by playing on ABC. Next week against Oklahoma though marks the first time they will play on ESPN this season.

What does Vegas think of Georgia's matchup against Oklahoma?
Vegas currently has Georgia favored by 14 points over Oklahoma according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. The over-under for this game is set at 47.5 points as well.
14 points is a large number against a team like Oklahoma, but it may be deserved. Georgia is 3-0 after covering the spread in all three of their games while the Sooners are 2-1 with a disappointing loss at Michigan and a narrow 14-6 win at home against New Mexico this week. Before the season began this spread wouldn't have been this large, but three games in Vegas might think Oklahoma is a little worse than thought at the start of the season and Georgia is a little better.
The only thing that matters is winning this game, but Georgia has an opportunity to go 4-0 against the spread which is difficult to pull off.
