Georgia got back in the win column on Saturday after they beat Florida in Atlanta 27-8. Whenever Georgia beats Florida it's a game worth celebrating, but this year the Bulldogs don't have much time to celebrate because up next they get to play Ole Miss on the road.
Not only do they have to play the Rebels on the road, but they have to play them at night which is when SEC stadiums are historically the most difficult to play in.
When do Georgia and Ole Miss play?
Kickoff between Georgia and Ole Miss is scheduled for 7:30 pm EST. This game will be played at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxord, MS.
This marks the second night game of the season for Georgia. Earlier this season they played at Alabama under the lights as well which ended in a remarkable win for the Bulldogs. Georgia however has not had a home night game yet this season, but that could change when game times are announced for the Week 11 slate of games which is when the Bulldogs host Missouri.
How to watch Georgia football play Ole Miss
Georgia and Ole Miss will air on ABC. At the start of the season Georgia wasn't being put on a main network channel each week likely due to their low level of competition they faced, but ever since week three the Bulldogs have played on ESPN or ABC each week.
This matchup will likely draw a huge TV audience. ESPN will be airing a ranked matchup between Kentucky and Tennessee and NBC will have a top five matchup between Miami and Notre Dame, but Georgia's matchup with Ole Miss is the biggest game in the SEC this week and the game more people across the country might care about.
Georgia's game with Ole Miss can also be streamed on the ESPN app and on Fubo TV as well.
What does Vegas think of Georgia's matchup with Ole Miss?
Georgia is a three point favorite over Ole Miss, according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. The over-under for this game is set at 56.5 points as well.
So far this season Georgia is 6-2 against the spread after easily covering the spread against Florida this past weekend. Ole Miss on the other hand is a little worse off against the spread as they are only 4-4.. They however just covered the spread this past weekend too after they beat Auburn by 30 points.
Neither Georgia or Ole Miss will actually care about covering the spread in this game. All both teams will care about is winning this game because they both desperately need a victory. Ole Miss has more to lose in this game because a loss marks their third defeat of the season which would eliminate them from the race to win the SEC and potentially knock them out of the playoff race too. Georgia on the other hand controls their own destiny to make the SEC and playoff, but a loss could take that away from them.
This game is one of the biggest games in the SEC this season, and according to Vegas it could be tight battle all night long.
Game odds adjust periodically and are subject to change.
