Georgia’s annual matchup with Florida is one of the most anticipated games on UGA’s schedule every season. Whether fans are driving down to Jacksonville to watch in person or are watching at home, this is a game no Georgia fan can miss.
Unfortunately some Georgia fans won’t be able to watch this game as the contract between YouTube TV and Disney officially expired Thursday night. The two sides were unable to come to an agreement on a new contract, so YouTube TV no longer has access to Disney’s platform. This unfortunately includes ABC who will broadcast Georgia’s matchup with Florida on Saturday.
Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV. This means you will no longer be able to watch channels like ABC and ESPN or access recordings from these networks in your Library.

YouTube TV ruins Georgia fans chance to watch matchup vs Florida
The fact that some fans won’t be able to watch Georiga battle Florida on Saturday is absurd. This is one of the best games in the SEC each season, so the fact that some fans won’t be able to watch is completely unfair.
Georgia fans impacted by this do have other some other options, but it unfortunately will come with a price to pay. Fans will either have to pay for a new service who does have access to ABC like Hulu TV or the ESPN app. People can also listen to the broadcast on the radio as well, but that is nowhere near as good as being able to watch on TV.
The good news is that these contract disputes tend to be resolved extremely fast. This is especially the case when they are receiving so much outside pressure from fans who are rightfully upset by this. So hopefully these two sides are able to come to an agreement before the college football weekend begins on Saturday.
Kickoff between Georgia and Florida is set for 3:30 pm EST on Nov. 1 with the Bulldogs favored to beat the Gators by 7.5 points.
