There really isn't anything much better than beating Florida. Thankfully Georgia football has done that a lot recently, and UGA fans have really been enjoying the recent dominance.

The Bulldogs 34-20 win on Saturday marked the fourth straight win against the Gators, which also brings Kirby Smart's record against Florida to 7-2. It really doesn't get more dominant than that.

This most recent loss by the Gators has made their fans extremely upset and frustrated with how things have gone under Billy Napier. Not only is Napier 0-3 against Georgia now, but this loss brought his record as Florida's head coach to 15-18, which is nowhere near good enough for a program like Florida.

Florida fans are now to the point where some are calling for Napier's job. This would not be good for Georgia because they clearly have no issue beating Florida under Napier, so the hope is that he would stay the head coach in Gainesville for as long as possible.

Thankfully it sounds like Napier isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and that's coming straight from Florida Athletic Director Scott Stricklin.

Billy Napier isn't going anywhere

Georgia fans may not want to admit this, but Florida has the potential to be an elite program at any point. They have done it before and have dominated Georgia while doing so, so there is always the chance that could happen again.

But could that happen under Napier? If his two and a half years at Florida has taught us anything, the answer to that question is a resounding no.

So take this as a win Georgia fans, because it looks like Florida is signing up for more years of mediocracy and losses to not only Georgia, but a majority of the teams they face. There are many teams in the SEC that can challenge Georgia, but for the foreseeable future Florida is not one of them.
