Georgia fans need to apologize to Mike Bobo immediately

Georgia football fans spent all offseason begging for Mike Bobo to be fired. Many fans believed he wasn't good enough as Georgia's offensive coordinator in 2024, so they didn't want to waste another season with him in control of the UGA offense.

Thankfully Kirby Smart had other plans because not only did he keep Bobo in Athens, he extended him.

So what has Bobo done this season after being extended by Smart? He has turned Georgia's offense into the most efficient offense in the country. For that reason alone Georgia fans need to apologize to Bobo immediately.

Georgia fans owe Mike Bobo a big apology

The above post ranks every SEC team by how efficient their offense has been this seaosn. Georiga not only sits atop of these rankings in the SEC, but they are the No. 1 team in the country as well.

Bobo's offense was the opposite of efficient last season. Georgia's offense routinely kept them out of games after struggling both in the run and pass game. Many even believed that if it wasn't for their poor offense Georgia could have won a National Championship.

Those issues were why Georgia fans wanted to fire Bobo all offseason, but it turns out that they couldn't have been more wrong.

Bobo and Georgia now have one of the best offenses in the country behind a quarterback in Gunner Stockton who is in the Heisman Trophy conversation. On top of that, Georgia's run game is as dominant as they have been in years and UGA's wide receivers are beginning to break out as well.

Georgia is a dangerous team. They will become even more dangerous if Georgia's defense can start playing at a higher level as well, but no one should worry about UGA's offense because Bobo has had them playing extremely well all this season long.
