Georgia football just got over what was potentially the biggest hurdle of the year as they took down Tennessee on the road in overtime. The Volunteers showed they are a legit threat to win the SEC this season, so it is extremely significant that Georgia was already able to overcome that challenge.

The Bulldogs still have nine regular season games left this year, and there are many more challenges that stand in their way. But there are three teams who stand out more than the rest, with one being a team no one would have expected at the start of the season.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide

Georgia's next opponent will be their most challenging game the rest of this year as No. 14 Alabama comes to Athens in two weeks. The Crimson Tide have already lost a game this year in week one at Florida State, but the Seminoles look like an elite team so that loss may not be as bad as people originally thought.

Since losing to Florida State, Alabama destroyed UL Monroe 73-0 and beat Wisconsin 38-14. Alabama is also on a bye this week, so the next time Georgia fans get to see the Tide will be when they take the field between the hedges in two weeks.
