It's now been a whole two weeks since Georgia football last earned a commitment. That is a significant problem.
June is the time of year when the most recruits in the country announce their commitments, so the fact that Georgia hasn't had a player commit since June 16 is a big issue.
The Bulldogs however have a few targets who are expected to announce their commitments soon. One of those recruits is four-star offensive lineman Nate Carson who has Georgia as one of his four finalists.
Commitment date comes later this week for 4-star Nate Carson, one of the top uncommitted OLs this cycle, and Clemson, Colorado, Georgia and South Carolina will have hats on the table.

4-star OL Nate Carson is ready to commit
Carson officially visited four schools during his recruitment this summer, and those four schools are his finalists. Georgia was the second school to get a visit on June 5 which came one week after Clemson. Then after Georgia it was Colorado and South Carolina who rounded out his busy month of visits.
Carson took a little time to digest these visits, and now he is ready to commit with a decision coming on July 3.
Georgia is in a strong spot with their offensive line recruiting class as they already have five players committed. If Carson were to commit to Georgia he would be the sixth which more than likely would end UGA's pursuit of offensive linemen, but unfortunately for them this is another recruitment that doesn't seem to be going their way.
Nate Carson may be the next recruit to break Georgia's heart
Georgia has been on a tough run on the recruiting trail. Not only have they not had a commitment for two weeks, but they have been losing recruitments left and right.
Recently they lost yet another five-star's recruitment, this time to Ohio State. And before that it was a four-star defensive back who chose Clemson after looking like he was in love with Georgia for much of his recruitment.
Carson has a chance to end this bad run Georgia is on, but unfortunately it doesn't look like that is how things are going to go.
247Sports doesn't have a prediction placed in this recruitment yet, but On3 is very confident South Carolina will come out on top. In fact, On3 gives the Gamecocks over a 90 percent chance to win this recruitment.
The fact that 247Sports doesn't have a prediction made should give Georgia fans a little hope that On3 could be wrong, but at this point no one should have their hopes up. Anything is still possible right now, but something is going to have to drastically change if Georgia is going to add Carson to their recruiting class.
