One thing Georgia football has been known for during the Kirby Smart era is elite recruiting. In fact, the past three recruiting cycles the Bulldogs have signed a top two recruiting class in the country.

A lot of this success is due to Smart who is just as good of a recruiter as he is a head coach. But the staff Smart has bulit around him are just as great of recruiters as well.

Georgia has been on an absolute heater so far this June as they have already earned five commitments this month. It really isn't possible to do much better than that, and it isn't possible for one of Georgia's assistants to be doing much better than he is.

In fact, Georgia defensive backs coach Donte Williams has been named the No. 1 recruiter in the country, according to 247Sports.

Defensive back Caden Harris announced his commitment to Georgia on Saturday, and this gave Williams and UGA five commits in the secondary already this cycle. Even more impressively however is the fact that four of those five commits are ranked inside the top 130 according to 247Sports.

Harris is the second best recruit Williams has been able to bring to Georgia this cycle, with corner Justice Fitzpatrick slightly above him. Following Harris are safeties Jordan Smith and Zech Fort who are elite four-star recruits as well.

Williams may have been one of the least known assistants on Georgia's staff, but that should change after this run of commitments he has brought to Georgia so far in this class. And the best part of all is that he still has a few targets in the secondary that he is after, so it likely is just a matter of time until he is able to earn more commits for Georgia.
