Kirby Smart is becoming more and more aggressive on the recruiting trail as this recruiting cycle comes to an end. Not only is he targeting traditional, uncommitted recruits, but he is also going after a handful of targets currently committed to other programs as well.

On Thursday, word came out of a new recruit that Smart and Georgia football are pushing hard for, and this recruit is a current commit to one of Georgia's biggest rivals.

4-star CB Donovan Starr

Donovan Starr is a four-star corner from Brentwood, TN. According to 247Sports, Starr is the No. 129 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 16 corner in the country and the top-ranked player from Tennessee.

Starr has been committed to Auburn since June 6, but recently his actions show that he may not be as locked down with the Tigers as much as Auburn would hope.

Starr has been on multiple official visits so far this fall. He visited Illinois back in September, he visited Alabama this past weekend, and he even has a visit scheduled to Vanderbilt next weekend as well. But Georgia has now decided that they want to get involved as well.

As you can see from the post shared above, On3 reported that Starr said, "They (Georgia) are definitely at the top of my list."

Seems like a pretty standard quote for a recruit to give, until you realize that Georgia offered Starr this same day. That's right, Georgia offered Starr on Oct. 31 and Starr already said UGA is at the top of his list.

There's no telling how true that really is, but it's probably the best thing Starr could have said directly after receiving an offer.

If Georgia is serious about flipping Starr from Auburn, they are going to have to get him on campus for a visit. Based on Starr's recent history, he thankfully will likely be more than willing to do so.

So look for Smart to try and get him on campus during one of Georgia's final three regular season games. If that happens, then there is a very real chance Smart and Georgia could flip Starr from rival Auburn.
