Georgia football flips 2025 QB from CFP contender
Georgia football continues to stay hot on the recruiting trail just one day after beating Georgia Tech.
The Bulldogs have the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2025 class, and they have every intention of finishing the cycle there. And their most recent pickup will surely help them accomplish that.
3-star QB Hezekiah Millender
Hezekiah Millender is a 3-star QB from Georgia’s backyard in Athens. Millender may not be ranked inside the top 1,000 recruits in the country, but there is a very specific reason why Kirby Smart added him to Georgia’s class.
Georgia’s current QB commit, four-star Ryan Montgomery, has been sidelined all season with a knee injury. There’s no reason to fear that he won’t be able to make a full recovery, but Smart and his staff made it clear that they wanted a second QB as an insurance policy just in case. So what better recruit to go out and get than someone who’s from Athens.
Millender has been committed to Boise State since September of this year, but as soon as Georgia came knocking he immediately became very interested. In fact, Georgia only offered Millender about one week ago, so Millender committing to Georgia this fast shows just how badly he’s always wanted to be a Georgia Bulldog.
Georgia’s 2025 recruiting class remains No. 1 in the country, with a solid gap between them and No. 2 Alabama. But Georgia is still going to have to make some more moves if they want to finish No. 1 for the second year in a row.
Thankfully Georgia is still in on multiple blue chip recruits, which includes five-star Justus Terry. And with the early signing period beginning in a couple days, we will soon find out if Georgia will finish No. 1 for the second year in a row or not.
