Georgia football is just a few days away from their season opener against Tennessee State. Kickoff is set for 3:00 pm EST, but there are a lot of events leading up to this that fans need to know.
Here is all the information fans should know ahead of the Bulldogs' week one matchup against Tennessee State.
Bulldogs Now on Fox 5 Atlanta - 8:00 AM

Led by former Georgia legend DJ Shockley as well as Justin Felder, Kelly Price, and Victor Prieto, this broadcast has on-demand viewings on their website as well as a live stream for all fans to catch up on what they need to know.
Pregame Broadcast Begins - 11:00 AM
Official radio coverage for the Georgia football game will start at 11:00 am EST. This radio coverage can be found on the Georgia Bulldogs Official Website or the official mobile app.
While it will not stream the live game, the radio show features analysis, coach interviews and live updates right outside Sanford Stadium. To visit them in person, their booth is right outside of the Stadium located by the Tate Student Center next to Gate 10 of the stadium. The booth will remain there right up until the Dawg Walk before the radio team moves inside the stadium.
Dawg Walk - 12:45 PM
The Dawg Walk is one of the best traditions in all of college football. Fans line up right outside the back of the Tate Student Center in the parking lot. Fans line up and wait for the team bus to pull in at 12:45. Players and coaches will exit the bus and walk through the crowd of fans waiting.
For those that get close enough, coaches and players will generally high five fans in the crowd. The Red Coat Marching band is also in attendance for the Dawg Walk and plays Georgia's most beloved anthems, making the experience that much more exciting. For a word of advice, get to the Dawg Walk at least an hour early if you can. The back parking lot fills with fans very quickly.
Gates Open - 1:00 PM
This one is rather self-explanatory. All gates to the stadium will open at 1 on gameday. A word of advice for this one is to make sure to find a gate closest to where your seat is. Even though you can enter any gate regardless of where you are seated, it saves you a lot of confusion and steps to go in the one closest to your section.
The earlier you get in the stadium, the more pre-game activities you will see. Players will warm up on the field, and you can walk up to the hedges and watch. Before kickoff, Georgia also has a video play on the video board to hype up the crowd along with some of the finest traditions in football. A lone trumpet will play the Battle Hymn of the Bulldog Nation, making the crowd silent and the goosebumps visible.
Kickoff - 3:00 PM
Wave your arms in a circular motion and call the Dawgs at 3 when Georgia begins the 2026 season against the Tennessee Sate Tigers.
