Georgia football has the best mindset possible heading into the Tennessee game

You learn the most about a football team based on how they respond after losing a game. This will be especially true for Georgia football this week because they got destroyed by Ole Miss last weekend.

The big question surrounding any team after they lose a big game is how they will respond the following week. Will Georgia move past this game and give Tennessee their full attention? Or will they still be thinking about last weekend's result instead of giving everything they've got for their game against the Vols?

The best sports teams of all time always find a way to respond the next game after a loss, and that is because they learn what they can from the loss then move on. And by the sound of it, it appears that's what Georgia is doing this week.

"Our big thing now has just been we can't let Ole Miss beat us twice," Georgia tight end Lawson Luckie said via 247sports.com. "They already beat us last week. … We can't sit back on what happened already. We got to bounce back and move on from it."

Based on the quote above, Kirby Smart and this team's leaders deserve a lot of credit for how the team is responding in practice this week after their loss to the Rebels. It would have been very easy to hang their heads, especially after the College Football Playoff committee placed them outside of the 12-team field.

But that is not what is happening. Georgia knows that all of their goals are still in front of them, so they need to not think about the Ole Miss game and focus solely on Tennessee.

The No. 7 Vols are going to be hard enough to beat as it is, so the last thing Georgia needs to do is make it any easier on them by not being as prepared and focused as they can be. Thankfully it sounds like that won't be an issue for Georgia this week.
