Georgia football is the hottest team in the country right now as they have landed four commitments in the past eight days. And according to one recruiting expert, Georgia should be getting more good news on the recruiting trail soon.
So who could be Georgia's next commit? There are a lot of quality candidates out there, but these three recruits are who Jonathan Williams with Georgia Bulldogs on SI thinks could be next.
1. 4-star OL Ekene Ogboko
Georgia has added a few offensive lineman to their recruiting class recently, and four-star Ekene Ogboko could be the next to join that group. Ogboko is the No. 40 overall player in the country according to 247Sports, so he is someone UGA desperately wants in their class.
Ogboko just took his official visit to Georgia last weekend and he has two more visits scheduled to Ohio State and Notre Dame. However, the Bulldogs do have a crystal ball prediction on 247Sports in their favor, so as of now things are looking very strong for Georgia even with these upcoming visits.
2. 4-star WR Craig Dandridge
Four-star wide receiver Craig Dandridge is a very exciting player for Georgia fans to watch. He is a top 250 player in the country and an in-state recruit, so he is someone that UGA will always have a lot of interest in.
Dandridge has a commitment date of June 25 set, and the Bulldogs are included in his list of finalists along with Georgia Tech, Stanford, Tennessee and Oklahoma. However, it is the Bulldogs who have two crystal ball predictions in their favor on 247Sports.
So it appears Georgia could be getting some good news in about two weeks from Dandridge, but considering how hot Georgia has been in recent weeks there's a great chance they land another player before Dandridge announces his commitment.
3. 5-star S Jireh Edwards
Of all the targets that could commit to Georgia, five-star safety Jireh Edwards seems like the most unlikely. Not that long ago Georgia appeared to be the favorite as they did received a prediction in their favor to win this battle. That however no longer appears to hold any weight as On3's Steve Wiltfong officially predicted Edwards to Alabama Wednesday night.
Obviously things can change, but Edwards is someone that Georgia fans should not count on.
