The final recruiting rankings for the 2025 class are just now being released, and to no one's surprise Georgia football finds themselves near the very top. The latest recruiting site to release their final update was 247Sports who did so on Tuesday, and their update was more than signficiant for Georgia.

For starters, one Georgia recruit saw their ranking skyrocket from No. 108 all the way up to No. 18 which earned them their coveted fifth star. This massive increase, along with many other smaller changes, caused Georgia's team ranking to slide up as well. And that was seen in On3's latest Industry Team Rankings as well.

Georgia jumps Alabama in On3 Industry Rankings

On3's Industry Rankings is a ranking that combines the opinions from multiple recruiting sites. So the rankings from 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN all impact On3's Industry Ranking, so that is why many teams, including Georgia, saw movement in their positioning on On3.

Lots of teams moved up and down in these rankings, but Georgia increased their position by one up to No. 2. And it just so happens that they passed Alabama in doing so. Comparing classes this high up in the rankings can be a difficult thing to do because they are all very strong, but it is extremely satisfying to see Georgia move past the Tide.

Unfortunately Georgia does find themselves behind Texas in these rankings, but after the Bulldogs beat the Longhorns twice this past season there really isn't anything their fanbase can say to Georgia right now.

On3 will release their final rankings later today as well, so these team rankings could change. It's unlikely that UGA will pass Texas, but hopefully they can hold steady at No. 2 which would mark the third straight year of finishing inside the top two of On3's rankings.
