Kirby Smart has been on fire in the month of May when it comes to recruiting, and even with the month coming to a close, Smart isn't planning to slow down anytime soon. With Class of 2026 prospects getting closer and closer to their final high school football season, they are narrowing down their top choices, and Georgia seems to be a popular choice for many.
Even though Smart isn't able to bring in every top recruit, he certainly has nabbed a few home run hitters. He is currently on the radar of the No. 4 cornerback recruit in the country, Justice Fitzpatrick, who just so happens to be the brother of former Alabama star and Pittsburgh Steelers star Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick has named the five schools he has narrowed his recruiting down to, and Georgia is battling against some heavy hitters with Florida, Ohio State, Texas, and Miami all on that list.
The 4-star recruit is listed at the No. 4 cornerback in his class and the No. 47 player nationally in the Class of 2026. The Florida native comes in at just over 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, playing for St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and even though he has received an offer from his brother's school, he has not included the Crimson Tide in his list of top schools.
If Justice is anything like his brother, he has a very bright future ahead of him in both college and potentially the NFL. Georgia does not have any cornerbacks committed so far in the Class of 2026, but they do have two safeties, so Smart is slowly but surely building up his future secondary.
Fitzpatrick will visit Georgia first this weekend, so Smart will get the first crack at the top cornerback. He will then visit Miami and Florida just days apart and end his visits with Texas and Ohio State.
