Everything that could go right for Georgia football appears to be going right. Whether that be on the field or on the recruiting trail, Kirby Smart and the entire program are on fire.

Last week Georgia had the No. 1 defensive lineman in the country commit to the program in Elijah Griffin. Then one day later, the Bulldogs beat No. 1 Texas on the road which vaulted them up to No. 2 in the country in the latest AP Poll.

Fast forward to Tuesday and Georgia just received two expert redictions to flip a talented safety commit from rival Georgia Tech.

Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons of On3 have officially predicted Georgia to flip Georgia Tech safety commit Rasean Dinkins. Dinkins is a four-star prospect in the 2025 class and the No. 219 overall player according to 247Sports. He also is the No. 20 safety in his class and the No. 32 ranked player from the state of Georgia.

Dinkins has been committed to Georgia Tech since the beginning of June, but it has always felt like he was never 100 percent committed to the Yellow Jackets. Dinkins has shown interest in multiple other schools since his commitment, including Ole Miss and Mississippi State where he took official visits days after he committed to Georgia Tech.

But now it appears that Georgia is the team trending in this recruitment.

The Bulldogs' 2025 class currently sits at No. 3 in the country behind Ohio State and Alabama. Unfortunately for Georgia is that a commitment from Dinkins wouldn't be good enough to pass either team in the rankings.

But at the end of the day that doesn't matter all that much. Dinkins is a very solid player that Georgia would be very fortunate to have in their recruiting class. And the fact that Georgia would be stealing him from a rival like Georgia Tech makes a potential commitment that much better.
