Everyone who pays even a little attention to college football knows that Georgia football will be without their QB Carson Beck during the College Football Playoff, but that doesn't mean he won't still be impacting the team during the playoffs

Beck hasn't been with the team for a few weeks now as he has been working with doctors and getting surgery, but that will be changing soon according to Kirby Smart.

"He's (Beck) going to join us in the next couple of days down here. He's been there for Gunner (Stockton) throughout. He's supported Gunner, had multiple conversations with him. Looking forward to having him with us for this game.”

What impact will Carson Beck have on the team?

Obvously there is zero chance that Beck will see the field even if Georgia wins and continues to advance in the CFP, but that doesn't mean he won't have a big impact on the team still.

The largest impact he will have is on Gunner Stockton and helping him prepare for the biggest game of his life. Beck will be able to help him prepare for any scheme that Notre Dame will throw his way, but he will also be able to help him prepare mentally as well. Stockton will have Beck next to him throughout the entire game, and the advice and help that Beck will give him will be priceless and put him in the best position possible to succeed.

Beck's presense on the sideline will also be beneficial to the entire team as well. It is no secret that Beck is one of the leaders of this team whether he is actually on the field or not, so him being at the game and supporting his team will help each and every player as well, just like it will Stockton.

So even though Beck won't have a direct impact on the game on the field, he will be able to help Georgia out in many other ways. And if UGA goes on to beat Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl, Beck will deserve some of the credit.
