3. Georgia earns commitment from Branch brothers
Next up is probably the biggest news Georgia will receive all offseason. Everyone knows how much help UGA needs at wide receiver heading into next season, especially after Evans entered the transfer portal, and Georgia got that help thanks to a commitment from USC transfer wide receiver Zachariah Branch.
Branch is the No. 4 overall player in the portal according to 247Sports, so it’s quite clear why this is such massive news. He is also one of the most electric players in the country and is even very strong as a returner on special teams as well.
To make this news even better, his brother Zion Branch also committed to Georgia who is one of the better safeties in the transfer portal as well.
Up to this point Georgia had not yet earned a commitment from a transfer yet. But that changed in a hurry when the Branch brothers chose Georgia over Arizona State, Tennessee and Miami (FL).
