Georgia football entered the 2024 season with aspirations to win their third National Championship in four year. While they did fall short of that goal after losing to Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl, the Bulldogs still had a successful season. Kirby Smart and Georgia beat all of their rivals and won an SEC Championship, which included beating Texas twice this season.
Obviously this wasn’t the season anyone wanted, but it was a good consolation prize. But now that the season is over, it’s time to turn our collective attention to the 2025 season. Next season will be an interesting one for Georgia because the team is going to look much different compared to this year’s team. But the ultimate goal will still remain the same, and that is to win a National Championship.
It will be extremely difficult to accomplish that, but FanDuel Sportsbook gives Georgia fairly good odds at accomplishing just that.
Georgia’s 2025 National Championship odds
Georgia has some interesting odds to win the National Championship next season as FanDuel gives the Bulldogs +700 odds to bring home the title. These are the fourth best odds in the country, behind Ohio State (+450), Texas (+650) and Oregon (+650).
It is a little surprising to see Georgia with this good of odds as there are a lot of question marks surrounding this team next year. The biggest question mark is at quarterback as Gunner Stockton will be the likely candidate to take over as the full time starter. We almost never see a team win it all behind a first year starting QB, so that fact alone makes these odds somewhat questionable.
But for now, Georgia fans can celebrate that they have one of the best odds to win a National Championship in the country next season. Obviously they have to go out and show that they are one of the best teams in the country, but people outside of Georgia are believing in this team and that is an awesome thing to see.
