The 2026 recruiting cycle is officially heating up now that the season is over. And nothing says recruiting season is in full swing like Georgia football targeting players committed to other programs.

Every cycle Kirby Smart will flip a few players that were already committed to other schools, so it is always fun to see which recruits Smart is attempting to do that with every year. And while there are some big names out there that Georgia is already attempting to flip, there is a new name that has surfaced that UGA is targeting alongside two of their rivals.

4-star CB Brody Jennings

Brody Jennings is a four-star corner from Jacksonville, FL. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Jennings is the No. 324 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 25 corner and the No. 51 player from his home state of Florida.

Jennings unfortunately has been committed to Michigan since last July, but all Georgia fans know that this won’t stop Smart from doing his best to change his mind. And that’s exactly what Chad Simmons with On3 reported as he stated Georgia is working on flipping him from Michigan.

Georgia isn’t the only school looking to flip Jennings either as two rivals of UGA are as well. Simmons reported that Florida and Miami (FL) are also looking to flip Jennings along with Georgia too.

Everyone knows that Florida is a big rival of Georgia’s, and while Miami isn’t a traditional rival, it would be nice to beat them in recruitments after they took Carson Beck. So beating both programs for Jennings would be quite satisfying.

The next step for Georgia is getting Jennings to come to Athens on a visit. If Smart and his staff are able to accomplish that then they will have at least somewhat of a chance to flip Jennings from Michigan.
