Georgia football and Kirby Smart have made it very clear what positions they are targeting in the transfer portal this year. The top priority appears to be at wide receiver, which likely every Georgia fan agrees with. But the second position UGA has been the most involved with is quarterback.
This is a little surprising because QB is a position that Georgia doesn't have a ton of question marks surrounding as they head into next season. Sure Georgia will likely feature a new QB under center with Carson Beck's likely departure, but there are already great options at the position for Georgia to choose from.
This includes Gunner Stockton, who will be the starter for Georgia on Jan. 1 in the Sugar Bowl. The Bulldogs also have Jaden Rashada, Ryan Puglisi and incoming freshman Ryan Montgomery. So out of those four players, Georgia likely would have a very strong QB under center next season.
But that hasn't stopped Smart from looking for a new QB so far this transfer portal season. Georgia has been publicly linked with three QBs in the portal so far, including a recent Alabama transfer, but there is a new name who just hit the portal from Ohio State that Georgia should consider.

Ohio State true freshman QB Air Noland has officially entered the transfer portal on Monday. Noland did not play at all during his only season with the Buckeyes, but that may be a good thing for Georgia because he still has four years of eligibility remaining.
Out of high school, Noland was the No. 7 overall QB in the country according to 247Sports. His ranking in the transfer portal is just as good now as he is the No. 10 portal QB according to 247Sports.
As mentioned, Georgia has plenty of options on their roster already to replace Beck next season, but since Smart wants to add another QB from the portal then Noland would be a great option. He is someone that could be around the program for awhile, so even if he doesn't win the starting job in the fall he could develop and win the job in the future.
Time will tell if Smart contacts Noland or not, and it may be more than likely that he does not. But Noland is an option that is worth thinking about for Georgia.
