Georgia football has had an excellent month of May on the recruiting trail as they earned four commitments throughout the month. While that is an amazing feat, there is still a lot of work to do as the Bulldogs still only have 10 commits in their class and are outside the top 10 in the country.
Thankfully Georgia has been receiving a lot of predictions this week for more commitments, which included five-star safety Jireh Edwards on Thursday. Edwards however wasn’t the only recruit predicted to commit to Georgia on Thursday as two top tight ends are also trending towards UGA as well.

Georgia trending for nation’s two best tight ends
Rivals insider Adam Gorney made predictions on Thursday for where he thinks the five highest ranked uncommitted tight ends will commit to. And in somewhat shocking news, he thinks both Mark Bowman and Kaiden Prothro will end up committing to Georgia.
On the surface it does seem unlikely for the top two tight ends in the country to commit to the same school because of the limited opportunities the position sometimes gets. This thought process is even more applicable with Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class because they already have a four-star tight end in Lincoln Keyes committed to the program.
But this actually isn’t much of a problem at all because Prothro, who is the No. 2 tight end in the country according to 247Sports, has the ability to play wide receiver as well. So Georgia might be recruiting him as a wide receiver which would allow Bowman, who is the No. 1 tight end in the country, to stick with that position along with Keyes.
Neither recruit has a commitment date set yet, so a lot can still change as their recruitments progress. But Georgia appears to be the team to beat for both prospects, which is one of the most impressive feats this staff has accomplished in this recruiting cycle so far.
