Georgia football is ready to take on Texas for the second time this season, this time with an SEC Championship on the line. Not only is the SEC title on the line, but so to is a top four seed and an automatic bye in the College Football Playoff.

Can Kirby Smart and Georgia do the unthinkable and knock off the Longhorns for the second time this season as the underdog? We will find out soon enough.

When?

Georgia and Texas are set to kickoff on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 4:00 pm EST.

Where?

The SEC Championship game will once again be played in Atlanta, GA in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This is Georgia's third game of the season at a neutral site, and they hold a 2-0 record in those neutral site games including a win over Clemson in the season opener in this same stadium. Texas on the other hand is 1-0 in their neutral site games this season after destroying Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl 34-3.

How to Watch

This game will be aired on ABC with a familiar crew calling the game. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be on the call with Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge working the sidelines for this crew. This game will also be available to be streamed on the WatchESPN app as well.

Series Update

The Longhorns hold the all time series advantage 4-2 between these two teams. However, UGA has won two of the last three meetings which includes the only conference game earlier this season when the Bulldogs upset No. 1 Texas on the road 30-15.
